The concept for this styled shoot started about six months ago when Julie of Partridge Avenue Design & Events returned from a trip to Goodwill with a $12 vintage wedding dress. Using the dress as inspiration, she contacted me with an idea for a styled shoot, and I was all for it! Intimate weddings are my favorite so I was super honored when she asked me to photograph her vision for a romantic vintage elopement. Letting the dress hold the spotlight, Julie kept the details simple and quaint. We started with some classic portraits in downtown Frederick and then moved to Baker Park for an intimate picnic and exchange of vowels just in time for the light to work its magic. Our models are a real-life engaged couple and couldn’t by any sweeter.
