I get it! It rained on my wedding day too. Not a misting…not a sprinkle…straight down-poured.
Our ceremony was supposed to be outside in the beautifully-landscaped gardens at Gramercy Mansion in Stevenson, MD but due to the rain, the ceremony was moved inside. And guess what? It was still as beautiful and intimate and romantic as I imagined the garden ceremony to be. So my first advice for you is to take a deep breath, have a glass of champagne (or two, in my case), and embrace it. Read More
There are so many things I loved about this intimate wedding! First on the list, of course, are Kyle & Brea! I have to say, I felt an instant connection with the couple and a sense of nostalgia because they remind me SO much of my husband and I when we were first starting out.
The Shoot & Share Photo Contest is a wide-known contest in the photographer community I first learned about two years ago. It’s a contest FOR photographers, voted on BY photographers. Frederick, MD Engagement Photographer
They braved the evening chill of January for their engagement session and not even freezing temperatures could stop Whitney and Brandon from cozying up in front of my camera. Not once did they complain about the cold and at the end of the session I heard Whitney say: “this was really fun!” YES! Now, that’s what I like to hear!
Brandon proposed to Whitney at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Orlando. They brought their wands from Ollivander’s wand shop to the session and together we made some magic! Here are some of my favorites from my time together with Whitney and Brandon.

Frederick, Maryland Intimate Wedding
Along with their parents and Rob’s son, Rob and Lisa exchanged beautiful vowels with one another in an intimate wedding ceremony at the courthouse in Frederick, MD. It was a cloudy day and the rain held off just long enough for THE most beautiful light for portraits in Baker Park. One of my favorite parts of the day was stopping at Starbucks for a few pictures because this is where Rob and Lisa had their first date. These two are so fun and engaging; I loved seeing them interact and how they truly enjoy each other’s company.

Molly and BJ’s wedding was picture perfect, overlooking the beautiful North East River in historic Charlestown, MD. Molly and BJ are near and dear to my heart and I was honored to capture their special day. I have known Molly for almost 10 years now and truly consider her my sister. We have been there for each others ups and downs, and through it all I have never seen Molly as happy as she is with BJ. His love for Molly is unwavering and true. BJ swiped into Molly’s life when she least expected it and it has been a romantic adventure ever since. From falling head over heels to falling into each other’s arms, Molly and BJ exemplify what love is and how to live happily ever after. Read More
Family Session in Downtown Frederick, MD Photographer Maryland
This is Wendy and Todd’s third year with me as their family photographer. I photographed Scarlet (the youngest) as a newborn, when she turned one, and now for her second birthday. And boy oh boy, does this little lady keep us on our toes. I just love her personality and how it shines through. William Shakespeare said it best: “Though she be but little, she is fierce!”
Extended Family Session in New Market, MD Photographer
With one brother on the East Coast, the second brother on the West Coast, and mom and dad in Texas, this family doesn’t have the opportunity to get together as often as some others. So when they do; it’s family picture time!! I really enjoyed my time with this crew in downtown New Market, Maryland. I love all my families, but those that come back to me year after year hold a special place in my heart. Enjoy a few of my favorites from this extended family session.

Molly & BJ Engagement Photography Session
When your best friend of almost 10 years meets the love of her life, you know capturing their love through the lens is going to be effortless!
We went to the picturesque Prettyboy Reservoir Park in Hampstead, Maryland to capture these two love birds. The park was a gorgeous background for Molly and BJ’s engagement photography session. The natural light paired with the grandness of the reservoir showcases their love and commitment to each other. I know Molly and BJ have a wonderful future ahead of them. They complete each other and when you begin your life together with this much love there is nothing stopping you. It’s so easy to see that these two were made for each other and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in October!! Read More

Tami & Wesley // Intimate Courthouse Wedding in Frederick, MD Wedding Photographer
I love the intimacy and simplicity of smaller weddings. Two people beginning their journey together without stress and worries. Tami & Wesley wanted just that when they decided on an intimate courthouse wedding in Frederick, MD before their big move to North Carolina to be closer with family. Their ceremony was simple and sweet and after the courthouse we headed to Baker Park for more photographs! I feel so honored to have been a witness to their sweet vows and to get to spend the afternoon with them. I am so happy for them and their new life together as husband and wife.

Intimate Wedding in Copenhagen, Denmark
This Copenhagen (Denmark) wedding took place on a perfect day in September 2016 with just the right amount of sunshine and warmth. Line and Morten chose an intimate wedding ceremony at their church followed by a garden reception with only their nearest and dearest! I am so honored to have been a part of their day and will always look back on this day with the fondest memories of my childhood friend saying “I do” to the love of her life. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together Line & Morten and thank you for allowing me the honor of capturing these precious moments and memories that I know you will treasure forever. Read More
